We Know Avery is 3!

But I still have more pics to post.  I know I've posted about her actual birthday and her big birthday party, but what I haven't thrown up here are her "official" 3-year pics.  You know I take monthly pics of Holden (actually some are on the way), but since Avery turned 2 I've done her pics every 6 months.  So her last round were at 2.5 years old right here.  It's amazing how much she's grown up since then.

3 Years Old.

Everyone says it. "THEY GROW UP SO FAST" "You won't believe it"  "TIME FLIES" "The next thing you know they are driving!"  ugh. ugh.  and double ugh.

Because it's all true.

I swear just a blink ago I was holding this little girl in my arms, as tight as could be, wide-eyed and naive as one little momma could possibly be.  I had no idea what kind of ride I was in for but one thing I knew for sure.  I was in love.  A million times over.

And somehow, some way, that love has continued to grow.  My heart beats so hard for her.  And now she's grown into my little girl.  Still a toddler officially, but more "little girl" every single day.

She's a treat.  And trouble too.

A whole lotta personality wrapped up in one little body.  As Avery would say "Oh my goodness".

She's really gotten into girly stuff (disney princesses, my little pony, strawberry shortcake) but mixed in with her love of soccer and football it's a pretty fun combination.  She loves going to school, loves soccer class and ballet class, loves to cook and bake, loves to draw, play with play-doh, play with her "ladies".  She loves to dance and twirl and make herself dizzy.  She loves to sleep on the couch - I know, SO weird.  She loves her brother to bits even though you will hear "Holdie NO NO NO" about 26 times a day in our house.  She loves her doggies but gets annoyed with Vlady like the rest of us.  She LOVES her sweets.  Asks for candy and cookies on a daily basis.  She's a tough one though and when she doesn't get her way she definitely lets you know "Avery doesn't like it!!".  We still have our share of timeouts but I have to say (knock on wood) they seem to have slowed down.  Oh, loves calling out when daddy has "stinky feet" which to Avery is whenever someone is barefoot - watch out, she'll call out your stinky feet.   Oh and stinky butts too - no holding back!!  "Daddy has stinky feet, mommy has stinky feet, grammy has stinky feet, grandma and papa have stinky feet, Todd, Nos, Josh, Jer, Jake, Felice and Emily have stinky feet!  EVERYBODY has stinky feet!" She calls out her own toots too - unlike some people we know.

She'll just run up to you out of nowhere and tell you "I dub you too mommy".  She's so good at throwing out her thank-you's, even when you don't deserve it.  After we put up the Christmas tree she said over and over "thank you mommy, oh thank you mommy".   Just makes your heart happy.

She hilarious and trying.  Sweet and spicy.  All wrapped in one perfect 3-year old.
