We had an interesting Christmas to say the least and more to come on that. Despite Avery's state of sickness, we were able to fit in a few Christmasy things before the big day arrived. Friday evening Avery finally ate a little something and seemed to get a little energy and was able to muster some holiday spirit. So we took advantage. And made a gingerbread house.

Then I thought we were done. But there was leftover frosting. I caught Eric added some more "details". If you watch Project Runway, Tim Gunn always talks about editing yourself. And that's what Eric needed to do.
But since it's Christmas, since it's a gingerbread house, extra frosting and extra candy were the right touch. In true Tim Gunn style, we "made it work!"
We kept our Christmas spirit rolling into the next day when we made our reindeer food to leave out Christmas Eve night. Because reindeer need extra energy and yes, they love glitter. :)
