Spa Day!! Spa Day!!

Said in a sing-song voice while skipping.

The first part of our Mother's Day celebration was a spa day for the girls.   Grandma came in from Detroit, Grammy made the long trip from Evanston :), and Aunties Sarah and Melissa were the perfect complement to our little group.  We were armed and ready for some relaxation.

We trudged down to Michigan Avenue and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.

And yes, there is actually a red door, if you were wondering.

After checking in and making ourselves at home, we were ready for our services.  Massages and facials, oh my!

The Troops.  Armed and dangerous.
After our services.....and no, I did not take my camera into the massage room, we had a great little lunch at the spa cafe.  Just us girls.

Then a couple of us decided to go for the complimentary mini-makeup application.  Spoil me.  Spoil me.

The grandma's - all relaxed and chilled out.

Right outside the spa sits the famous Drake Hotel.  Not bad neighbors.

We clearly enjoyed our spa day.  Can't you tell?
It was a great day at the spa made even more perfect by great company.  I'm thinking this massage thing should become part of my monthly rotation....sounds reasonable, right?
