She obviously gets that from her momma.
Hehe.
Ok, not quite, but I want Avery to experience food, try different things and be comfortable in the kitchen. This girl does love to cook.
So we signed her up for a cooking class at our local Whole Foods (done through her school).
To say she loves it is an understatement.
I got to tag along and so I took a few pics, of course.
She was so excited prior to class....
And then, right to cooking. On tap - salad with homemade croutons, pasta and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
First - to the croutons....
There's always time for a little song of course.
Back to cooking!!
Croutons = into the oven. Next, pasta sauce.
Croutons done. Smelled amazing.
Onto salad.
And the best part - dessert.
Finished!
Ok, maybe this was the best part. Taste testing.
It is such a great class and Avery adores it. So much, she doesn't ever want to leave.
We finished off with a little grocery trip around Whole Foods. For some weird reason, Avery loves the fish. Gross.
And flowers. But we know where she gets that from.
She wouldn't even put them down until we were home, up the stairs and into our place. Held them the entire car ride home. She's passionate I tell you.
