2.5 Years Old!!

It's finally Avery's turn!  Last week she turned 2.5 years old and since I've changed her "monthly birthday" shot to be every six months it was her turn for a little photo shoot.

2.5 years old.  My original little.

Since Avery doesn't get much press these days for her monthly birthdays, this may be a little wordy and a little photo heavy.  My apologies.

She's a spitfire that's for sure.  She's a ton of spice and a whole lotta sugar.

She spends her fair share of time in "timeouts".  And then minutes later she'll run up to you and give you the biggest hug and kiss you could imagine.  Full of surprises.

She's potty trained, loves her ABC's and 123's, loves her blankie, loves to dance and sing, play soccer ("kick the ball!"), scores a lot of goals, is self-proclaimed "really fast", is obsessed with the dogs (and sometimes pees her pants because she laughs so hard playing with them), loves her little brother "Holdie" and "Buggy Boo", every night gives little H a good-night kiss and an "dub you", does the best animal impressions, loves many characters - Dora, Boots, Diego, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Belle and all Pixar movies (I know, bad mommy), constantly announces "Avery ok" immediately after she falls, calls everyone out on their farts, or as she calls them "toots", oh and burps too, loves to include the entire family when she's talking about something (i.e., "Avery's tired, mommy's tired, daddy's tired.......etc, includes all of the grandparents and aunts and uncles and then ends with "everybody's tired"!), loves playing with her little figurine ladies - Dora, the Disney princesses, Strawberry Shortcake, her My Little Ponies, loves stickers and coloring, always wants to help wash Holdie's bottles, loves flowers, loves shoes (oops), is so good with her "please" and "thank-you's", says "bless you" after you sneeze, loves to cook, loves her sweets, loves chocolate milk, all fruit, her vitamins, granola and yogurt, cookies and cupcakes, often wants to do things her way and by herself "Avery DO IT!" is a common phrase, she let's you know when she's not happy with something, is very stubborn, can be a bit mischievous, loves making faces, has a crazy lady laugh she pulls out sometimes, definitely has her naughty moments, often screams in excitement when people come over (and not in a good way), makes it very difficult to "parent" when I'm holding back laughter, pushes the limits, makes me smile a million times a day, and can smother you with kisses, hugs and "dub you's".

So yep, she's pretty much perfect.

How old are you?   "TWO!"

Just needed a pic of her long hair!

Just like mommy?
