A Slow Start to 2011

I can't believe it's January 8th and this is the first time I'm posting in the new year!  Things have been a bit busy 'round here and we are settling into 2011.  I'm getting ready to go back to work soon and there is still a lot left on my "to do" list!

I'm close to finishing the kids room - it wasn't the easiest transition from a pink girly Avery room to a gender neutral, but cute Avery and Holden room.  Once I'm finished I will post some pics.

We're "sleep training" Holden now that his medical issues seem to be in line.  We're getting some decent nights but he still goes back to his old ways every now and then.  He appears to be a bit stubborn in this department.  As my mom says, "remember Kim, he's very Polish".  haha!

The Christmas decorations are put away!  As much as I love Christmas, it's always a relief when we get all of the decorations stored and out of the way.  And hopefully I burned some calories while doing it!

My maternity clothes are currently being boxed up.....I still have some work to do in this area.  I essentially have to switch out my maternity wardrobe and replace with my normal wardrobe.  There are many transition/flexible pieces that remained in my closet the entire time, but there is still a lot to do.   Luckily I've been out of maternity clothes for some time, but I haven't needed my work/dress wardrobe so was holding off (plus those long maternity tshirts are quite comfy!).

So that's a quick summary of what we've been up to.  I'm sure I missed a bunch but we (I) have had a busy start to 2011.  And in a few weeks someone (actually two little ones) will be getting baptized.  Planning is underway!
