Christmas Traditions

As the New Year peaks around the corner, I'm trying to get a couple of Christmas-related posts in.  It happens in a snap, and just like that, Christmas is over.  So much build up and then BAM, see ya next year.  I'm even ready to take the tree down!

Anyways, before the big day arrived, we checked some of our Christmas traditions off our list.

- Gingerbread house
- Christmas cookies
- Reindeer food

Check. Check. Check.

"Someone" takes the gingerbread house very seriously.  And that said person is not me.  It's a source of pride around here.

by far, the worst part of the process, putting the house together.  always my task and never as easy as it looks.

lots and lots of pink.  had to get the Valentine's sprinkles out for Aves.

this was not an uncommon sight.  Holdie was a big fan of the whole process.

no idea why Holdie is so excited, but I'm loving it.

Last but not least, a very easy and simple task, is putting together the reindeer food.

Holdie's favorite part - the leftovers of course.
