A ball full of energy, he makes us smile every single day. And want to pull our hair out too - don't let his cuteness fool you.
Holden is all boy - trucks, cars, Thomas, balls....all standard.
When he runs around the house it's more like he bounces at a fast speed, and his curls just bounce along with him. He loves to run. And he's fast (we know where he gets that from, yup).
He still loves to snuggle, hug and give kisses.
He's talking so much these days. Not full sentences or anything, but new words every single day. "I'm hungry" remains his most utilized words. He stands in front of the pantry and will repeat it over and over and over again. He's great with has manners too, lots of "bless you's" and "thank you's". I'll take it while I can.
He hates when the subject of timeout will come up and it does feel like a pretty common occurrence these days. He's funny about timeouts though, he will get very upset if the idea is brought up and then other times he will voluntarily put himself in a timeout. The other day I came downstairs to Holdie sitting in timeout and asked him why, he responded "threw car at daddy". He had literally chucked a car in Eric's face and before Eric could even say anything, walked himself over to timeout. But then he has plenty of times when he goes kicking and screaming as well.
He knows how to get under his big sister's skin - but I can just tell he adores her. Avery says they are best friends.
I can't believe my baby is not really a baby anymore. Such a toddler. When I put him to bed I get to hold on to some of the "baby" still left in him, but I know it slips away before you even realize. I want to remember every bit of him at this age. I want to absorb it all.
My baby is two.
