Avery's Birthday

A week after the combined little birthday party, Aves turned four and we had our standard little family celebration. 

Avery picked out the dinner menu:  chicken, strawberries, carrots and grapes.

 

 

And for weeks had requested a "Rapunzel" cake.

 



 

After the gifts were opened, Eric was lucky enough to start working on this (see below):

Unfortunately I didn't get an "after" shot, but I can confirm that it is complete and sitting in Avery's room.  Due to the amazing quality of the product from our friends at Disney (which I knew in advance from reading tons of reviews), super glue fixed all of the challenges - despite being a glue-free assembly.  :)

 

 

As Avery put it "the best birthday EVER".

Holdie = no pants.  He does this sometimes.  No explanation.
