Avery is growin' up.
We said goodbye to her crib. (well, at least her bed in "crib form"). It's been the only bed she's known her entire life. All 32 months.
We converted it to a toddler bed.
And I got a bit sentimental.
Here's looking at her crib the morning of the day she was born. We snapped a pic right before we headed off to the hospital for my c-section. Oh how life was different that day and was forever changed a mere few hours later.
Her room (now her and Holden's room) has changed quite a bit since that day in November 2008, but her crib has remained basically the same. Until now.

| Holdie was like "this is great and all, but peace out." |
It may not seem like all that big of a deal, and sure in the grand scheme of life it isn't, but it was one of those reminders that life moves fast. Like warp speed fast. One day you're bringing your baby home from the hospital and the next day she's in a big girl bed, wants her finger nails painted and wants to watch the Real Housewives with you (all true unfortunately!). And geesh, tomorrow she'll be driving!! Ugh.
For now we'll take our little milestones with a mix of sadness and anticipation, of what we're leaving behind and of what we have to look forward to.
