Just getting around to our pictures from last weekend. It was one of those jam packed weekends, and I look back and am totally disappointed in the pictures I got. Sometimes it's just so tough with two kiddos running around to really get time to focus on the pics. But of course, we still have the memories..... (so cheesy!).
So before Miss Ellie was born, as I posted here here yesterday, we went back to Detroit for cousin Avalyn's baptism. Saturday morning we got in a trip to the very preggo Laura's house to hang with Max. Luckily for us, we compiled quite a group and just had a blast.
Roll call:
Mason - 4 yrs
Lila - 2 yrs (31 months)
Avery - 2 yrs (28 months)
Gus - 2 yrs (26 months)
Max - 22 months
Teddy - 13 months
Ivy - 6 months
Holden - 5 months
Ellie - in da belly - 38 weeks
Quite the gang, right? The adults were outnumbered to say the least. :)
While my pics weren't so great, we had a fabulous time.

These two just seemed to play so well together. Or at least next to each other. It was so cute.

The big guy on campus, Mason.

Eric got his workout in with Mason, that is for sure. Best quote of the day - Mason (directed towards Eric) "you're actually pretty good".

Eric's under there somwhere...
Sidenote - you know you're with a bunch of parents of little kids when Avery walks out of the bathroom having just peed on the potty, and all of the adults cheer - totally unprovoked.

Sorry Lila. I have a feeling Eric had something to do with this 'do.

Our host, Mr. Max. Getting used to playing with headbands....it's a good thing too, because his lil' sis has a full head of hair!
So there ya have it. It was a great start to our weekend in the D. We finished Saturday off with dinner with the fam - including the little cuz. But of course I didn't get any pics. You want to talk about chaos....a 2.5 hour dinner with a tired 2-year old was doomed to fail. And it did. I think out of that 2.5 hours, I was sitting at the table for 25 minutes.....but that was cut up into 5 minute increments! Luckily Miss A pulled it together right at the end when I told her daddy ordered her cake. So my girl. :)
