Cousin Avalyn

We recently had our visitors from Detroit and Avery was over the moon to have her little cousin come and visit and even stay at our house.  It's so funny to see Avery brimming with excitement over the chance to see her little cousin. Holden, well Holden, he obviously doesn't quite get it yet.  But I do think he likes to have someone his size to play with.   They are about the same size - minus the head - Holdie is a bit overpowering in that arena.

We had a great weekend just hanging out.  Which I know sounds relaxing, but when you're dealing with an almost-4 year old and two almost 2-year olds, it just ain't too relaxing.  But of course we all enjoyed it.  And Avalyn got a good sense of life with a sibling - as she's up next as a big sis'!

And you know we need to hold onto these moments.  With all we got.  These kids are just growing up too fast.
