At 8 weeks Holden weighed in at 12lbs. The doctor wasn't thrilled with his weight gain, but considering the issues we went through and how his intake dramatically decreased for about 1week+, our ped was pretty happy with where he was at. He's been eating more and more and I'm *hoping* we are through the worst. Hopefully he'll start gaining more weight and maybe along with weight gain will come more sleeping!! hehe. Oh, one can dream.
We've upped his reflux medication again, had a rough few days (the body produces more acid when you first increase in an attempt to fight the medication) but I think we are on the right track. Oh, and we went back on the previous formula - still expensive and hypoallergenic, but not medicated - and he seems to be doing ok. Fingers crossed!!
Oh, what will month 3 bring?! :)
