Toddler Tales

I thought it might be fun to share a tid bit of life with a toddler....

Avery gets into everything these days.  EVERYTHING.  She loves playing with the dog bowls.  And she really loves dunking her hands in their water bowls while we say "No"....she then cutely looks at us so innocently like "what?" while her hands are still completely submerged.  One day "NO" will stick, right?

Well the newest development is her obsession with the dogs' food.  She takes some of the kibble out of the bowl and yep, you got it, puts it in her mouth.  Now I was thinking that she needs to learn her lesson so maybe I should just let her eat it and see for herself, but then I worry about the possible diarrhea that could follow.  So a few days ago she started eating the dog food, I ran over and tried to grab it out of her mouth being the loving mother that I am.  She then proceeded to use all 12 teeth (including 4 molars) to bite down and crush my finger.  Despite the pain, I managed to pull the soaking wet kibble out of her mouth.

Oh. And don't forget, it was of course my fault. Starting screaming her head off.

Just life with a toddler......
