Snuggle Saturday

Saturday and Sunday mornings are my favorite (of course for obvious reasons) but after Avery wakes up we go and get her and bring her in our bed for 5-10 minutes of snuggle time. I love this part of the morning. So today Avery was snuggling with daddy, looking at their blackberries and it was literally (or visually!) picture perfect. I am thinking about bringing my camera to bed with me next weekend, because these are the moments I wish I could capture. Just a reminder of how lucky we are.

When she was snuggling in bed with us, she had her ankles crossed and was rubbing her feet together. This may seem weird, but this is exactly what I do....it was just a little piece of me in her. I think Avery is the perfect combination of me and Eric, but it was a little snapshot like that, that reminds me how amazing it is to be a mother and have this little person be such a part of you.

So I digress...a lot of writing for a little post! Here are a few pics from our Saturday.

Avery loves walking around with this roll of wrapping paper. I am hoping this is the beginning of her love of wrapping gifts - just like mommy!


Just a couple of our cutie pie playin' around.




Avery decided she wanted to wear my vest. It doesn't look too different than the long version of my coat! If you just add a belt, really wouldn't look too bad! And yes, Avery pulled one ponytail out - this wasn't me trying to bring the 80's back.


And while most children *push* strollers, our little Avery likes to carry them!
