Avery - 4.5 Years Old

4.5 year pics were taken!  I did in fact take out the dusty camera and put her to work.  And it was about time.

So what's 4.5 like around here?



Preschool has been amazing and Avery loved it.  It officially ended the end of May (pics to be blogged!)

Avery continues to grow into such a little girl.  She loves to dance and just finished her ballet class.  She loves to play music, put on performances and just simply strut her stuff around the house.  She makes up incredible songs and sings her heart out.

That imagination is in full swing.  I'm amazed at the stories I hear her tell, the conversations her dolls engage in and her ability to keep herself occupied with a couple of simple dolls.

She's sweet and darling coupled with stubborn and tough.  I constantly tell myself that I will adore that toughness when she's a young woman.  (please be true).

We've somehow added shorts into her wardrobe - and she actually wears them.  But only at camp.  Days at home, weekends - it's still all dresses and skirts.

She has been talking about her 5th birthday pretty much since November 18th, as soon as she turned four.  She already has her party theme picked out, the cake decorated and her color scheme finalized.  Yup.  She's my girl.

I love her with all my heart.  And soul.

You know what's crazy?  How fast a year really flies.  Here she was just a year ago - at 3.5 years old.
