Thomas the Train day. A day in which Eric and I looked at each other and I proclaimed - these are the days that you know you really, I mean really, love your kids.
Because there is no other reason a sane adult would subject themselves to such a situation.
Unfortunately Holden had not really thrown himself to the Thomas obsession that he is currently swimming in. But he may just have to look at pics. Not so sure there will be a repeat (please remind me of this when next August comes and I decide to purchase tickets again).
It wasn't as bad as I'm making it out to be. But it wasn't so lovely either.
And it was also about 97 degrees.

You had to pay to have your picture taken in front of Thomas but what I'm sure were pretty crappy photographers.
So we could have gone for it like these kids below....
So we did this instead....
There was food, toys, games, the whole thing. It was actually at the Illinois Historical Railway museum so before we left, we walked around a little. Got a few cool shots.
