And this is his favorite cupboard. And we usually let him go at it. It's where we used to keep the baby bottles and baby food (thank goodness no more!) so now it's not all that full. Some vitamins, scentsy stuff (beth!), candles, hand towels and other misc. items.
He loves it.
It doesn't light up. It doesn't sing and dance around. It doesn't make noises. And it doesn't need batteries.
It's a simple pleasure that we can all appreciate. Because didn't we all have a cupboard, or tupperware, or some kitchen item we used to love to play with?
And that's probably where our childhood similarities end!
