The day before Halloween (the day after Holdie's party), Avery got in some trick-or-treating practice in Wrigleyville, at the Southport shops. It was quite the place to be, crazier than you could imagine. But Avery was content with her "trick or treat" and we got to spend some time with Aunties Candace and Melissa and her uncles Josh and Jer.
It was a little too busy for my liking and we hit a point when Avery had her fill. And we were ready to go home.
Despite the wind and chaos, Avery pulled in some decent candy and was as happy as could be.
