Easter Time!

Easter morning came and it was gorgeous outside! We had a busy morning as we were rushing around to feed and dress Avery, do Easter baskets and then head to 9am mass. And we were hopeful the teething monster wouldn't ruin our Easter :)

Found the crayons. One of her favorites. It's good too, because she has broken all of her other crayons by chucking them on the ground. One of her favorite games!


The Easter bunny even brought a Dora doll!

I threw this one in here because I didn't get a good picture of Avery with her flower hairband and Eric in his tie. They match! Isn't it just so cute?? I just love it.

So at this point we head to church. Avery behaved pretty well but definitely had her fill towards the end. In her defense, it was a long mass! So the next pictures pretty much sum up her mood at this point.

We really tried to get a good family pic, but Avery didn't exactly feel like cooperating. This was the best we could get. The alternative was.....

Back home and ready to eat! I cooked brunch. Yes, I cooked brunch! This was another one of those Martha Stewart moments and if I say so myself, I stepped up to the plate and performed quite well. Compliments were spoken often. Pat, pat. Yep, that was me patting myself on the back.

And into evening and the rain came down! We were all a bit beat at this point and the rainy dreary weather almost seemed appropriate. Btw, isn't Avery's shirt super cute? I love it.

So that was our Easter. We're still dealing with some teething difficulties, but had a fabulous day nonetheless. Hope your Easter was as wonderful as ours!
